History

Nothing at GUT EDERMANN could happen without our people. We love to work with those who share our creed, and we are joyed to host guests who know how to enjoy and want to experience something entirely unique. At GUT EDERMANN, these people come together, each in his or her own way. Once, here on the edge of Holzhausen bei Teisendorf in a perfect location with a scenic view of the natural and cultural treasures of Berchtesgadener Land, Chiemgau, and Salzburger Land, stood the rustic Sach’ (possession, estate) next to the guesthouse Zur schönen Aussicht (By the Good View). Much has happened since then: The guesthouse acquired a dairy, expansions grew, reconvalescent guests came and went. Only one thing remained the same: the wonderful view of the harmoniously overlapping hills and mountains of the charmingly countoured alpine foothill landscape. That is, until we, your hosts, transformed the estate to an equally unique wellness, fitness, and luxury hotel. Step for step, thought for thought, and brick for brick.
